Vista In the Pearl District Getting off the Ground

After a pause in highrise condo building in the Pearl District, we’ve got a new condo project going up, named The Vista, due to be completed in late summer/early fall of 2018. The highrise is located near the waterfront, NW 11th, Quimby, and adjacent to The Fields Park.

Finishes in each unit are planned to be sleek and of the highest quality. You’ll find features like double-sided fireplaces, quartz countertops and Bosch appliances with Wolf and Subzero in the penthouses and some upgraded units. There are a variety of sizes, from a small one-bedroom condo at 786 square feet to a spacious penthouse at over 2600 square feet. 168 car parking spaces and 229 bicycle parking spots are also planned.

The two-story lobby, enclosed by glass, will be a focal point to the building and the location of the full-time concierge. Part of the development will be a low-rise structure, with community gardens on the rooftop that look out to The Fields Park and the Willamette River to the east. The tower will be 21 stories high, affording the higher level condos a spectacular view the city and river.

Office/Retail on the First Floor

The first floor will contain 12 retail/office units, some of which is suitable for small businesses because of the smaller square footage (under 1000 square feet). There is one live-work unit available.

Competition

The Vista still has competition with the other another recent highrise condo building, Cosmopolitan on the Park, just a block south. At 28 stories, this highrise has equally great views.
